I find that it's not so important to remember all the technical stuff (unless you want to of course), but for me I prefer to get out in nature and appreciate all that it has to offer. Hopefully sharing these snippets of forgotten uses and stories will add to your enjoyment and encourage you to rediscover and remember the wonder of nature.
